Surgery and Recovery.

Praise the Lord!
So I had my laproscopic surgery yesterday which went extremely well. They ended up doing cautery ablation of endometriosis which they found on my uterus. I am very grateful because my specialist said that my ovaries, tubes etc are all fine, which means I am fertile! (At least for now!). Endometriosis is the leading cause of infertility, so I have been a little bit hesitant to the idea of wanting children, because I don’t want to suddenly get married and be all “sorry, but we’re not going to be able to have children”. But, I thank God for what he’s doing and how he’s been protecting me up to this point.

I also want to take some time to thank those of you who have been praying for me. It almost seems like a miracle because for the past 2 weeks, leading up to surgery I have been feeling about 90% better overall. I’ve had no feelings of dizziness, fainting spells, fatigue or cold sweats…so I have been able to go to work and come back home and enjoy the rest of my day! Which is a rarity, because I usually work, and sleep as soon as I get home, because I have no energy to do anything else.

I just want to encourage you out there, that with whatever you are going through, God will never leave you or forsake you. (Deut 31:6)
